Renton, WA - hybrid schedule, 30 hours per week

Well respected and beloved organization seeks contract Staff Accountant due to growth! The position could convert to regular employee. Work with a tight knit group, that enjoys working together in an exciting industry!

POSITION SUMMARY:
Staff Accountants perform routine financial and accounting tasks, such as account reconciliations, preparing and posting journal entries, assisting with tax filings, as well as year-end audit requests.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• High degree of attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Ownership and pride in work product
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, expertise in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot tables

Education and Experience Requirements 
  • degree or certificate in Accounting
  • 2 years of experience as an accounting coordinator or similar position
  • Excel skills -VLOOKUP's and pivot tables 
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is a big plus

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
