Senior Accountant

Our commitment to excellence and a shared vision of improving communities drives our organization. We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our mission.
 
Responsibilities:
- Maintain tax schedules and ensure timely payments for multiple states.
- Prepare and review general ledger entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Oversee the month-end close process for multiple entities within the organization.
- Calculate cash surpluses to facilitate efficient distributions.
- Review construction draws and provide guidance to staff on process enhancements.
- Collaborate in coordinating year-end financial audit activities for multiple entities.
- Generate financial reports based on comprehensive data analysis.
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with RealPage software.
- A self-starter capable of working proactively with limited supervision.
- Strong ethics and integrity in financial reporting and business practices.
